Tuberculosis caused by Mycobacterium tuberculosis remains a formidable challenge to the global public health. Novel diagnostics technology for tuberculosis is the key to boost the control of tuberculosis control. This paper summarizs the global progress of new tuberculosis diagnostics technology based on DNA methylation, mainly including the methylation of genes as a potential diagnostic target and the signaling pathways involved in these differentially methylated genes. |
