Severe fever with thrombocytopenia syndrome, caused by severe fever with thrombocytopenia syndrome virus infection, is a new emerging infectious disease with ticks as the main vector. This disease is prevalent in rural or forest areas in China, accounting for 5%-30% fatality rate. Abnormal immune system function plays an important role in the occurrence and development of viral infectious diseases. This article reviews the research related to abnormal immunological function in severe fever with thrombocytopenia syndrome virus infection, thus enhancing the understanding of related researchers and medical staff for this disease, and promoting mechanism research and development of new technology for diagnosis and therapies. |
